You don't need a string of top grades to start a hospitality apprenticeship. Most entry-level programmes require you to be of legal working age and to have the right to work in the UK.

Earning Qualifications on the Job 📚

If you don't have your GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, you might wonder how you will handle the training. This is where the magic happens. You can earn those qualifications while you work.

Through a flexible system called Functional Skills, your Lifetime Learning Coach will help you gain equivalent, fully recognised qualifications alongside your main hospitality training. You get dedicated time to brush up on these subjects at your own pace, turning an old worry into a brand-new achievement.

Note: No formal qualifications are required to do an apprenticeship, but some employers may ask for GCSEs (level 4+) in English, maths, and science.
